The race is divided into three gruelling stages, and as they make their way across the dramatic landscape we all know and love the region for, the riders will cover more than 320 miles.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe race is set to start on 29\u003csup\u003eth\u003c/sup\u003e April in Beverley, and it\u0026rsquo;ll end when the last rider crosses the finish line in Scarborough on 1 May. Last year, the race was viewed by more than a million spectators, and it all started when Yorkshire launched the Grand Depart for the Tour de France back in 2014.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eStage one will see the riders cycle all the way from Beverley to Settle. This is set to be one of the race\u0026rsquo;s most spectacular days as it\u0026rsquo;ll see riders from the whole world over pedal their way through some of Yorkshire\u0026rsquo;s finest scenery. Stage two will start in Otley and finish in Doncaster.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eStage three is the most challenging stage of the whole event, and the action will start at Middlesborough and finish in Scarborough. Some of the world\u0026rsquo;s most famous cycling teams will be taking part (including Team Sky and Team Wiggins), and the whole of Yorkshire will be celebrating the event throughout the weekend with the Tour de Yorkshire Festival.
