Follow M5 to Junction 22
At junction 22, take the A38 exit to Burnham-on-Sea/ Highbridge.
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit to Bristol Rd/A38
Continue to follow A38.
Turn right onto Cross Lane.
Slight left onto A371 following signposts to Cheddar.
Continue through Cheddar along Wells Road.
As you exit Cheddar this will become Draycott Road, continue past the Cheddar Garden Centre. Follow this road toward Draycott but do not go through the village. Look out for The Cider Barn on your righthand side.
Pull into the entrance of the large carpark by The Cider Barn where you will see a ‘Blue Chip Holidays’ sign ahead of you. Your lodge is along ‘The Avenue’ which is straight ahead as you enter the car park. Follow this road down.
Amber Lodge is the fifth lodge on your right-hand side.
Sections of the A371 along Draycott & Rodney Stoke (leading toward Wells) will need to be closed between 1 October and 13 March for vital services works.
This will mean long term disruption although every effort will be made to reopen the road where possible without compromising safety.
We would recommend to all guests that you endeavour to travel to us via Cheddar (BS27 3AA).
Guests travelling from the East toward Strawberryfield Park would be advised to travel using the B3135 as a via point and ensure you continue into Cheddar.
The property will be unlocked from 3pm on your day of arrival and your keys will be left in the door.
This property requires a security deposit of £125.00 per booking which will be collected 7 days prior to arrival and refunded, subject to receipt of a damage claim, 7 days after vacation of the property.
The property will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival and check out time on the day of departure is 10am.
The property is equipped with everything you will need, including utilities, bed linen and towels.

A security deposit of £125 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. The Cider Barn - There’s an onsite cider and ale barn so you can sample the taste of the county whenever you fancy some refreshment. Tables are available to reserve in advance, so if you fancy unwinding over a pint of something local on the first night of your stay call ahead and make a booking. Please call 01934 741837. They also provide a simple menu of local, rustic, good wholesome food.
Full instructions for the use of your hot tub will be found next to the hot tub. It is guest's responsibility to ensure they have read and fully understood the hot tub disclaimer prior to using the hot tub.
This property is able to accommodate last minute arrivals between 7 days to 48 hours without the need to check with the property manager. Any bookings within 48 hours will need to be checked with the PM as usual.
Bookings must run:
7 nights - Mon-Mon or Fri-Fri
4 nights - Mon-Fri
3 nights - Fri-Mon
Bedroom two is zip and link beds - set up as twins initially.
Note that this is on a site with on-going works this will cause little to no disruption to guests - No need to let guests know as Mike is very mindful about disturbing guests.
Owner happy to accept 3 dogs on prior arrangement.
Property can accept over occupancy of 1 infant. Call PM if wanting to over occupy by more.

Keys are located in the lodge door no need to contact Pm for key collection.
Whileaway Lodge will be unlocked from 3pm on your day of arrival and your keys will be left in the door. There is no need to call in advance.
