Oakwood Lodges

Oakwood Lodges

Rhayader, Wales

Peaceful and secluded, this collection of contemporary lodges sits in the heart of Mid Wales. Just a short drive from the beautiful views of the Elan Valley, Oakwood Lodges is all about gathering the family (and the dog of course) and embracing the Great Outdoors in style.

Every lodge in this collection has its own decked veranda and a private hot tub, and that means plenty of opportunity to forget life’s stresses with a dip in your very own tub of warm bubbly bliss.

Just think, you’ll be able to step into the bubbles on those sunny afternoons while the kids play, and on those starry nights while they drift off to sleep on the sofa. And, when the kids are enjoying a splash around in the tub, you’ll be able to sit back and admire the views across the Elan Valley.

Hot tubs

There are seven gorgeous lodges in our Oakwood Lodges collection, and each one has its own hot tub to make a stay extra special. Whether you’re planning a family escape or a stay with friends, there’s just something about knowing you can enjoy a dip and some time out at any time of day.

With the Elan Valley and its famous scenery less than a ten minute drive away, we reckon you’ll be clocking up a few miles on your walking boots, and those family hikes are all the more enjoyable when you know there’s a hot tub waiting to welcome you when you get home.

Out and about

Ok, so let’s start with the Elan Valley. Just a few minutes’ drive from Oakwood Lodges, this colourful patchwork of scenery’s home to valleys, lakes, woodland, and a breathtaking series of reservoirs and dams. If this is your first time in Wales, the valley’s the perfect way to experience the scenery that makes Wales such a popular place to spend time all year round…honestly, it’s stunning.

Just a mile away from the lodge resort, the market town of Rhayader’s the most historic town in Powys. Set on the banks for the River Wye, Rhayader’s the kind of town that offers a warm welcome and the chance to experience ‘real Wales’.
