Historic Reviews

Very relaxing and unspoilt place. Portland Bill Lighthouse very good if you can climb to the top. Chesil Beach but probably go for a meal in the pub Cove House Inn (I think).

The Portland Museum just down the road is well worth a visit. Also, the Tout Quarry sculpture park and the King Barrow Quarry nature reserve, which are both close to the Heights Hotel, from which the restaurant has a great view of Chesil Beach, with decent food and friendly service.

Was a lovely house, had everything we needed. Location was great and the added bonus of the beach hut was great.
Lovely coastal path walks from the front door in both directions, towards Portland Bill and left from the path at the top of Church Ope Cove. The Fish & Chip shop on the main Easton Square was nice and had a lovely meal in the Eight Kingâ’s Pub just a 10/15 mins walk towards Portland Bill.
