Found in the historic port of Brixham, Samphire Cottage is a traditional end of terrace fisherman`s cottage with a sleek contemporary interior twist. The open plan living, dining and well appointed kitchen area makes it easy to spend time together. The large corner sofa will easily seat the whole family for a quiet evening in.
Stepping out, you`ll fall in love with the views from the south easterly facing terrace right above Brixham`s bustling harbour, a five minute walk away. The patio is the perfect spot to sit and watch the sun go down while you sip your favourite tipple, and there`s something relaxing about watching the boats come and go.
There are two beautiful bedrooms upstairs one with a kingsize bed and harbour views and the other with single bed with full sized 3ft trundle bed stowed below. There is small private outside terraced area outside bedroom two.
You’ll find Brixham in Torbay, on the South Devon coast, and it’s one of the UK’s prettiest destinations. Pick up the South West Coast Path and take in some of the dramatic scenery on foot, hop aboard a ferry and explore neighbouring Torquay, or while away some time at Berry Head County Park and Nature Reserve. The cobbled High Street slopes gently down to the harbourside, where you’ll find seafood restaurants proudly serving the fresh catch of the day, including Rockfish, owned by celebrity chef Mitch Tonks.
