The property will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival and check out time on the day of departure is 10am.
The property is equipped with everything you will need, including utilities, bed linen and towels. Please bring your own pool towels or they are available to rent at 50p each.
Due to the rural location of the resort the mobile telephone reception can be poor (dependent on your network provider) and so a landline has been installed in the property which you can use in the event of an emergency.
It may be difficult to contact anyone if you should have any issues accessing your property upon arrival so please ensure you read all the below information and have everything you need before you travel.
The swimming pool, gym, tennis courts and children’s playground remain open for your enjoyment.
The swimming pool is open to adults between 7am and 9pm, and children are welcome to use the swimming pool between 8am and 8pm.
Please note, whilst the swimming pool is available for all ages (subject to time restrictions), the sauna, steam room and gym are only available to guests over 16 years of age.
Please note the hot tub is not available for use.
A cot and a highchair are available on request at an additional charge. If the you require one of these, or for any other additional extras please contact the Property Manager.
A security deposit of £250 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.
Any guests arriving after dark are recommended to bring a torch as lighting is limited in some areas of the site to preserve the natural environment. This will assist you in locating your lodge and the key safe for access also.
Unfortunately the on-site reception although staffed is not accessible to the guests of Blue Chip Holidays for any assistance regarding your arrival or property.

Arrival to Site
Upon arrival to the Woodland Retreat resort, please follow the road to the left (you will pass the communal car park and main reception building on your right). You will find Lodge 1, Rose located on your right shortly after passing by the main building.
Key collection and access
The key collection process is very simple.
Your key code will be sent to you by text message 7 - 10 days before your arrival to Woodland Retreat.
Upon arrival you simply need to locate the key safe by the front door of Rose, Lodge 1 and enter this code.
If you have not received you code prior to arrival please contact us to obtain this as limited mobile telephone signal may make contacting us difficult once you arrive.
When you are not in the property, please could you leave the keys in the key safe
