A security deposit of £50 is required at this property to safeguard against contents and damage. Your deposit will be taken 7 days prior to your arrival and held by Blue Chip Holidays for 7 days following your departure, before being returned to you. Funds will take 3-5 working days to reach your account. In the unlikely event that damage to the property or its contents is found, this will be deducted from the deposit. A Victorian villa with sea views and a contemporary touch.

Nimrod is a deceptively large, cliff top Victorian Villa which comfortably sleeps eight people over three floors. Lovingly renovated and ultra-modern, the contemporary décor and stylish furnishings make this a very sought-after holiday home.
On the ground floor there is a lovely sociable open-plan dining and kitchen area with access to a private walled courtyard with steps up to a decked area. You also have the choice to dine in three areas, at a dining table off the kitchen, at the breakfast bar or in the front dining room. This well equipped kitchen also offers a Rayburn and large American fridge freezer.
On the first floor you will find a bright large lounge with a large L shaped sofa where you can enjoy the stunning views of Ventnor’s coastline and the English Channel. On this floor you will also find a large family bathroom.
The house has four bedrooms including a master bedroom, two double bedrooms (one including a shower) and a twin room all dressed with 100% Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread count linen. From the rear bedrooms you have beautiful views of St Boniface Downs. The unique master bedroom definitely has the wow factor with its fantastic views of Ventnor’s coastline as well as a roll top bath, his and hers sinks and walk-in shower in the room itself.
Nimrod is a short walk from Ventnor’s Blue Flag beach and the children’s paddling pool. There are also several very popular restaurants and pubs in walking distance including the famous Spyglass Inn, Met Bar, Hillside, The Royal Hotel as well as The Hamborough. If you are feeling a little more adventurous why not try a Sea Safari or mackerel fishing with Ocean Quay Yacht Charters?

This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.

Wonderful holiday location beautiful house could not fault it

Nimrod is a lovely house and a great place to stay in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. The house is much bigger than the photographs show - there is lots of room and space. The house is comfortable and well equipped.
We were disappointed that our dog was only allowed on the ground floor as this hadn’t been made clear at the time of booking although this has now been resolved.
The house is a short walk to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants in Ventnor.
The house doesn’t have its own parking available but we found it quite easy to find on street parking or there is a pay and display car park a short distance from the house.

This property is advertised as dog friendly. It is not, your pets have to stay on the ground floor.
He we known this we would NOT have booked this place.
