A superb 18th-century thatched barn conversion surrounded by stunning countryside views.

Mole Hall is a beautiful detached thatched 18th Century Barn Conversion in the heart of the Devon countryside. The property takes advantage of far reaching rural views from many rooms and is only a twenty minute drive from the thriving market town of Bideford.
Internally, the property is cosy with traditional features while having a modern touch. The open plan kitchen dining area has access to the garden through French doors that fill the room with light. The living room is on the first floor offering exposed beam ceilings and a seating area with a desk to relax and unwind. Externally, the property has a lawn area and patio with table and chairs perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun. There is a lake on-site which is stocked with carp perfect for any keen fishermen.
North Devon holds many interesting attractions for all ages. RHS Rosemoor is approximately 30 minutes drive away from the property, an internationally renowned collection of gardens. The Tarka trail is also nearby which features a series of footpaths and cycle paths that go around North Devon following the route taken by Tarka the Otter in the book of that name. The Milky Way Adventure Park is also only a half hour drive from the property and is a great family day out. Home of North Devon’s biggest indoor adventure play area with assault courses and slides built for adults and children along with shows and displays to enjoy too.
Only an hour’s drive away is Exmoor National Park offering an amazing variety of landscapes within its 267 square miles. A unique landscape of moorland, woodland, valleys and farmland; shaped by people and nature over thousands of years. Where high cliffs plunge into the Bristol Channel, and cosy pubs and tearooms offer delicious local produce.

Historic Reviews

1. Whilst the two bottles of Prosecco were very welcome, other essentials were limited for 11 people e.g. 6 eggs, 1 pint of milk. Definitely order online for delivery the day you arrive. Whilst Mole Hall is remote, all the major supermarkets find it. Sat Nav works well
2. There are no activity brochures or owner suggestions in Mole Hall. An early visit to a tourist information office is recommended if guests are not familiar with the area

We all had a fantastic weekend at Mole Hall and would definitely recommend it and indeed have already recommended it to work colleagues . The hosts were on hand if needed but not intrusive . We had a wonderful and thoughtful "welcome pack " with eggs, milk, butter, jam and bread included which we were very grateful for on arrival .There were 11 of us in total but plenty of room so we never felt crowded. The hot tub and views were great and the sound of nothing but birds singing and children playing was priceless .
R.H.S. Rosemoor was a delight to walk around .The Tarka trail was great and bike hire was reasonable .The Hunters Inn , Newton Tracy served a good meal and Exmoor zoo made a good stop off on the way home .

Lovely welcome hamper, very friendly when we met them. Pictures are exactly as the property looked. Loved that we could take our dogs.
The high chair is not suitable for babyâ’s.

We very much enjoyed out stay at Mole Hall, the house itself is lovely and is in a very quiet location, the welcome package was a really nice touch too.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay, the owners were really great hosts and provided us with everything we needed, the hot tub was brilliant and the accommodation really comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.
