Located within the pretty village of Sticklepath at Dartmoor National Park in West Devon, this charming two-bedroom country cottage comfortably accommodates up to four guests. You can leave all thoughts of daily life at home and enjoy your escape to the countryside.
This beautiful cottage is well furnished throughout and offers a welcoming open plan living space on the ground floor in which you can get cosy in front of the wood burner or sit around the dining table with a delicious meal that has been cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with all the key appliances such as an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, slimline dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/ freezer, and a Nespresso coffee pod machine.
With your own patio area at the back of the cottage with a table and chairs and a charcoal barbeque, you can sit and soak up those holiday feelings with a glass of your favourite tipple. There is also a handy storage shed for bicycles. Muddy and exhausted dogs can be washed off comfortably in the courtyard using the hose with outdoor hot and cold water taps.
Head upstairs to two comfortable bedrooms, both offering zip and link king-size beds which can be split into two 2ft 6in singles on request. Please be aware the staircase is very steep and narrow. After an excellent day exploring the surrounding area, return to have a refreshing shower or run yourself a hot bubble bath and relax.
Set within the stunning Dartmoor National Park, Hobbs Cottage is ideally located for those looking for a fantastic holiday in the outdoors. With walks and cycle paths from your doorstep you can easily explore the beautiful surrounding countryside and discover the local wildlife, including the iconic Dartmoor ponies.
