If you’re a rider then you haven’t experienced Dorset until you’ve ridden Studland Beach on horseback, and Studland Stables organise extra special rides that you’ll never forget. This ride is ideal for experienced riders, and the miles of sandy beach at Studland make a gorgeous setting for a gallop in any weather.
Many choose to celebrate an occasion with a beach ride, and you’re more than welcome to bring your own bottle of champagne along to enjoy when you’ve finished. Studland Stables will provide the glasses, leaving you to relax and top off the experience in style. You can even book the stables’ own photographer to take beautiful photos while you ride, so Studland Stables can help make a special event extraordinary. Beach riding isn’t available from July to September.
The stables are located in the friendly village of Studland, just 20 minutes from Bournemouth when you take the Sandbanks ferry. They also operate dramatic clifftop rides that showcase Dorset’s rugged coastline, heritage rides that take in the area’s oldest sites, and traditional ones through acres of forest and across open heaths. No matter which landscape you fancy enjoying as you ride, Dorset is home to some of the UK’s most beautiful riding routes.
