The screams you can hear from Woodlands are normally the screams of its visitors enjoying the rides, but things take a different turn throughout October half term with the Family Scare Days.
Captain Skeleton and his creepy crew will be sailing their way in to the theme park to make Halloscream Week the scariest one yet, and all themed activities are included in the usual entry price. In fact, if you book your tickets online you’ll save 20% off the usual price.
There’s a Halloween-themed happening to make a visit spooky for every age group, including the brand new Scarecrows Horror Castle, the seriously creepy Ghost Train, the Gruesome Graveyard and some rather revolting bugs to see at the zoo-farm.
There’s also the chance for younger visitors to roll up their sleeves and carve a pumpkin or to learn a few new tricks at one of the trick or treat weird workshops. The highlight of the attraction’s spooky celebrations is Dracula’s Disco on 31st October, and the kids are encouraged to dress up in themed fancy dress so dig out your scariest costumes to try and win a prize.
