The impressive crag looms high above the crashing Atlantic and reaches up to 300 feet in some parts, and there are nearly 60 different routes to climb in various grades.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eThere are more routes towards VS and upwards, but they\u0026rsquo;re quite safe although sometimes sparsely protected. Keep your eye on the tide whilst climbing Baggy Point, and try to climb it on a sunny day for the best possible experience. Comprised of huge slabs and diagonal shale bands, Baggy Point\u0026rsquo;s Long Rock Slab is its prize feature, and it\u0026rsquo;s now dotted with slanting breaks, corners and cracks.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe 70 degree climbing to be tackled at Baggy Point covers every grade. You\u0026rsquo;ll find more features to the north of Long Rock Slab and the enormous Baggy Hole, such as Cheesegrater Cliff, Concrete Wall and Scrattling Zawn. Scrattling Zawn contains handy sections divided into easy crack climbs \u0026ndash; including the 1890s route Scrattling Crack. Baggy Point is a climber\u0026rsquo;s dream, and it\u0026rsquo;ll lure you back for a new climb time and again.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eIt\u0026rsquo;s not the climbing that attracts visitors to Baggy Point. The headland is also a favourite with coastal walkers, surfers and just those who want to admire the exhilarating view.
