Margot’s Bistro in Padstow is the town’s worst-kept secret and it’s rocketed to number three in the TripAdvisor reviews. This friendly bistro has a loyal fan base and it’s well worth a visit during a stay in the foodie capital of Cornwall, but you will need to book very very early as it can become booked up for months in advance during summer.
The homemade bread is a sign of the personal touches throughout the restaurant, and the menu offers hearty meals with an impressive flair. There's a tasting menu of five courses available too, for just £45.
Whether you pop in for a quick lunch during a busy day enjoying the fresh air or book in for a cosy evening meal close to the twinkling harbour this friendly bistro has become a Padstow must. Everything on the menu is homemade and wherever possible the chef uses fresh produce and the best of the season.
Whilst most restaurants in the area have a focus on either seafood or meat, this one offers both in style, so there’s a dish to suit every palette and plenty to choose from. The restaurant’s closed on Sundays and Mondays.
