The centre houses and rehabilitates orphaned and injured otters, and you’ll also find Fallow Deer, peacocks and owls waiting for you to come and say hello.

A visit to the sanctuary is a chance to get up close to British and Asian otters, and you’ll see them as they’re fed and going about their daily otter business. The British Otters can usually be spotted in pairs of hanging out as a family group, and they include Troy, William, Charlie, Harriet and her cubs, Tor and many more. The Asian Otters are the most sociable residents found at the centre, and these friendly chaps include Biggy, Raymond and Smalley (all hand reared at the centre) and many more.

The otter feeding times are at 12pm and 3pm every day, and they’re always accompanied by a talk from the keeper to help you learn all about the otters and their habits. There are also talks about the birds of prey at 11.30am and 2.30pm.
