Bude Farmers and Craft Market takes place on the Wharf every Friday between Easter and the last Friday in October, and it opens from 10am – 3pm. So now that you’re clued up on where to go and when here’s what you can expect to find – fresh bread and cakes, farm produce, cheese, garden supplies, Cornish bears, curry spices, leather goods and much more.
If you want to pick up some unique gifts to take home with you, stock up on local foods for a self-catering holiday in Bude or just have a look at some of the goods produced in the area then the market is a great place to start. You’ll find a wide variety of stalls, and everything is produced locally so you’ll be able to experience a real taste of Cornwall.
The market is divided into produce stalls and those specialising in arts and crafts, and the intricate work of the glass artists is always popular with visitors. Choose from mosaics, glass beads and beautiful wood crafted ornaments to remind you of your visit, or treat someone special with a piece of handcrafted silver jewellery.
Bude’s wharf was refurbished several years ago, and the market is all thanks to the vision of a local man named Neville who decided to create a regular event showcasing everything Bude has to offer, and we think he's done very well indeed!
