The Somerset town of Bridgwater is an idyllic destination, with nostalgic streets, busy shopping centres and a lively history. The town’s trails take in its striking Georgian architecture, medieval sites and several buildings of interest – now a modern business hub, and visitors to Bridgwater are often pleasantly surprised by its bustling shopping centres and selection of restaurants.
Bridgwater offers a great base from which to explore other areas of Somerset. Don’t forget to look out for the Willow Man from the M5 to the north of Bridgewater.
