We won double gold in the British Travel Awards!

It's been a week that'll go down in Blue Chip history...

In nearly seven years at Blue Chip I’ve been lucky enough to be in on my share of company triumphs, but Wednesday night was one of the most exciting moments in Blue Chip history. As you’ve probably gathered from the wave of social media excitement this week, we only went and won TWO gold awards in the British Travel Awards! 

We won the gold award for Best Medium Holiday Company for Customer Service and gold for Best Medium UK Holiday Cottage / Self Catering Booking Company…and the whole team are over the moon.  

Four of us from the team joined some of the leading names in the British travel industry for an evening of glitz and glamour in London’s Battersea, and even before we realised our dreams of gold had come true (twice!), the whole event was really rather splendid.

Affectionately known as the Oscars of the travel industry, The British Travel Awards recognises the leading companies in travel, and the fact that the public have a say in who wins is one of the reasons it’s so important to us.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us, our fantastic owners and loyal guests who make doing what we do such a pleasure. So, we just need to figure out how we’re going to top two gold awards next year…
