2. 2 Southern Halt, Cornwall

Perfect for a break with those pals you just don’t see often enough these days, this 3 bedroom lodge in the Cornwall countryside makes just the place to wind down and catch up. There’s a bubbling hot tub, and its open plan design means you can relax in style.

3. Kingston Manor, Isle of Wight

Forget Downton, this Grade II listed manor house sits within 15 acres of gorgeous private grounds, and it dates all the way back to the 13 th century. We’re talking roaring open fires, a hot tub, barbeque, and even a games barn complete with a full size snooker table.

We love love love this bright, airy number in the heart of Somerset’s countryside. With four bedrooms, the obligatory hot tub and a private balcony, it wouldn’t look out of place in a glossy magazine. And check out those views from the living space...

5. Pennsylvania Castle, Isle of Portland

The stuff dreams are made of, Pennsylvania Castle sits in all its glory on the Isle of Portland, and you may have seen its rave review in The Telegraph earlier this year. It has a pool, views out to sea and opulent bedrooms you won’t want to leave.
