When visiting the stunning rugged coastline of Yorkshire and the picturesque moors that the area is so famous for, why not try out one of the many cycle routes available and see the sunning scenery from two wheels. With a variety of routes ranging from 7 to 20 miles, you can cycle as little or far as you want.

With routes running through Scarborough and Whitby, you will really get to take in some of truly breathtaking views that this area has to offer. Why not stop off for a bite to eat at one of the many cafes and pubs which are along the way for a rest and refuel. For the more advanced cyclist looking for a day-long ride, you can even do the 32 mile circular Moor to Sea route which begins at Scarborough Railway Station, runs along the historic old railway track known as “The Cinder Track” and passes via Ravenscar and it’s magnificent views.

If you haven’t brought your bikes with you, there is a selection of cycle hire centres providing everything needed for a great day out. With a range of children’s and adult bikes, buggies, tandems and trailers available, you’ll definitely be able to find exactly what you’re looking for.
