The Haworth Treasure Trail is a family activity that makes exploring the village good fun for all ages. You’ll need to buy the treasure trail pack before you go and then follow the trail by solving the clues along the way. You’ll have a code to crack, so you’ll all have to think like secret agents and take the mission very seriously!
The walk starts at the Haworth station on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, and the route takes its secret agents along Main Street and to the Bronte Parsonage Museum (once home to the Bronte sisters) – and you’ll discover all kinds of facts and secrets as you go.
Haworth was once home to the Bronte family, and many of its sites were the inspiration for some of the greatest literature ever written. The house was also used in the classic film The Railway Children during the 70s, if you watch the film closely you’ll recognise it as Doctor Forrest’s surgery. This trail should take around two hours to complete and is 1.5 miles long.
