Stepping inside Drop Farm Tea Rooms was described by one happy reviewer as like “stepping back in time”, and it sits on a quiet road at the heart of Oxenhope’s peaceful countryside. This is the kind of tea room where you can pass the time of day with the staff, tuck in to a good old roast dinner and even request half portions if you’re not feeling too hungry (or you want to make sure you’ve got room for a pudding!).
The menu covers everything from light snacks, hot drinks and hearty main courses, and we should mention that many of the desserts are homemade. The treats on offer depend on what’s been backed in the latest batch, but if you time your visit right you’ll have the choice of scones, fairy cakes and fruit cake.
The tea room only opens on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (between 12 and 3pm) so make sure you pop in during your time in Oxenhope. Drop Farm makes the perfect pit stop during a local walk.
