Perfect retreat

The holiday was outstanding from start to finish. Upon arrival the lodge is situated in a group of 5 with fabulous views over the South Downs however great care has been taken by the owners with landscaping to ensure that each lodge is fully private. The lodge was spotless, with beautiful quality furnishings and a well stocked kitchen with all the equipment and utensils you would need with the added bonus of dishwasher and washer drier. Very roomy with a huge bathroom comprising of a large standalone bath, twin sinks and a large walk-in rain shower. Willow lodge has a very private & covered large hot tub with no visibility to other lodges and fabulous LED's in the roof to add to the atmosphere. The accommodation was faultless, and the property managers greeted us after arrival to welcome us and check everything was OK assuring us of them being around if needed but were in no way invading the privacy. Location wise, we could not have asked for better. There are many good local restaurants within a 2 mile radius and with a ten minute drive to the park and ride site for Brighton (Withdean Sports Conplex) or the train from Hassocks Station the lodge became a great base for days out and exploring the local area. We would have no hesitation in returning to South Downs Lodges and hope to do so soon!

Another fantastic break with Blue Chip!

Just returned from a week away in South Downs Lodges in West Sussex. Stayed in Willow Lodge and have to say it was perfect. The lodge looked brand new, it was spacious, comfortable and had all mod cons, as well as a wonderful hot tub which was under cover so could be used all year round. The site was immaculate, well maintained and the Manager was extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful break, I would highly recommend this place. This is the second holiday booked with Blue Chip and would definitely use them again, brilliant!
