Wonderful experience

We had a great time at this beautiful spot which offered one of the best provision of crockery and utensils. The lodges were spacious and very comfortable. Privacy from other lodges was also well thought out and we will be more than happy to return in the future.

Fantastic lodge

Beautiful, very comfortable, well equipped lodge which was spotlessly clean. Rang Sarah the owner a couple of days before holiday for access instructions & was asked what time we would be arriving. As we were arriving early Sarah arranged for our lodge to be cleaned first then rang us to say it was ready 2 hours earlier than expected. Lovely cake, milk, bread, tea & coffee provided, very welcome after a long journey. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Light, airy and beautifully furnished lodge in an attractive

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday and cannot fault anything in this very clean and modern accommodation. Every room is furnished to the highest standard and the sitting room is very light - with sun streaming through the windows in the morning. The lodge has its own private garden area with patio and attractively planted flowerbeds. The whole setting is lovely, with distant views of the downs on one side. The location is very handy for Hassocks Station on the London to Brighton line, and there are many beautiful local walks. Ditchling Beacon, which is about a 10 minute drive away, offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend this accommodation.

Cedar Lodge - Home from home!

I enjoyed a week long break at Cedar lodge with my partner and parents. When we arrived we found cake, bread, milk tea and coffee had been provided, which was very thoughtful and welcome after 3-4 hours in the car. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and modern. The large living area that comprised kitchen, dining room and lounge was light and airy with two large double doors that lead to the decking area. We sat outside on many occasions relaxing on the sun loungers. Although the lodge is one of five, you never felt overlooked. To summarise, Cedar lodge is very well maintained holiday home that is equipped with high quality fittings and is located in lovely surroundings. Home from Home!

Beautifully appointed holiday lodge

I booked the lodge for a 50th birthday get together with family and friends. It was perfect as the open plan space enabled everyone to be together. The facilities, including the excellent walk-in shower and well equipped kitchen were ideal and the booking and arrival experience could not be faulted. I would definitely go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the lodges to others. Great location for Brighton, mainline railway and the South Downs Way.

Cedar Lodge

The Lodge was even better than the photographs - spotlessly clean, modern decor and appliances, superb bathrooms with huge shower in the en suite bathroom, beautifully soft white towels, and dressing gown, and the bedlinen was pure white and great quality. The welcome basket was thoughtful, with bread, tea, coffee and a salted caramel cake, and butter and milk in the fridge. Huge tv screens in the living room and both bedrooms meant we could keep up with the latest news, and logs were left for the woodburner, which we lit as it was November! The Lodges overlooked the South Downs, and the setting was lovely and peaceful, with groves of silver birch trees, and a lot of planting, although being a winter break we didn't use the sun loungers or outside table and chairs. The owner met us as we arrived and checked if there was anything we needed, and we felt the area was safe and well cared for.

Cedar Lodge, Hassocks

My husband and i stayed here for 7 nights with my 9 months old twins in July. The lodge was very spacious and perfect even though my parents lived with us at the lodge. Everything that we need was available and we loved walking in the open air green space just outside the lodge. The facilities and quality are as good as in the photos. Amazing holiday for all six of us. Thank you so much. We ll come back again.

Cedar lodge hassocks

Excellent accommodation, very spacious clean and modern. Lovely showers with bath robes available. Welcome pack on arrival was a nice touch. Great location for Brighton and the South Downs Way, so plenty of country walks. There are currently only three lodges on the site and they have been positioned to provide privacy. I would definitely recommend this lodge, unable to say anything negative about it, perfect.

Cedar Lodge Hassocks

4 ladies celebrating a milestone birthday stayed at Cedar Lodge in April 2016. High quality, comfortable, very well equipped and extremely clean holiday accommodation. Generous welcome pack and unexpected extras such as bath robes and quality toiletries were a most pleasant surprise. We loved the artwork by M Nee and intend to visit his forthcoming exhibition at the garden centre next to the location of these lodges. We would definitely not hesitate to recommend staying at these lodges.
