Kents CavernWhy not discover the secrets of prehistoric Torquay with a visit to Kents Cavern? This fascinating set of underground caves has been the site of some of Britain’s most significant archaeological finds and remain a leading Torquay attraction! Admission prices include an entertaining guided tour of the caves, and photography is permitted. The tour lasts for around an hour and includes engaging explanations of the remarkable prehistoric caverns and passages which date back two million years! Unfortunately, due to its nature and alyout this attraction is unsuitable for wheelchair users. Babbacombe Model VillageBabbacombe Model Village is by far the quirkiest Torquay family attraction! See the world from a different view as you explore the miniature model village! The thousands of charming models include delightful buildings, people and working railways which together beautifully display England’s past and present! As well as the impressive model village, this lighthearted Torquay attraction also includes an indoor 4D experience with themed shows and events all year round. The model village also displays dazzling evening illuminations at certain times. Babbacombe Model Village may be unsuitable for some wheelchair users.

Cockington Village & Country ParkFor days when the weather is kind, Cockington Court and Country Park is a true escape from it all. This quaint thatched village is the perfect setting to enjoy a famous Devon cream tea. With horse and cart rides, a manor house and cricket green Cockington is a unique taste of Devon days gone by. The manor houses many local crafts and displays, and the stables are now used for glass blowing. On your way back from Cockington Court, take a stroll past the abandoned Gamekeeper’s cottage and the surrounding lakes. This is one of Torquay’s most peaceful corners.
