Meadfoot, Babbacombe, Anstey’s Cove, and Livermead are amongst the most popular dog-friendly Torquay beaches. Livermead Beach is a mixture of sand and shingle, with breathtaking views of the bay. Meadfoot is a sand and stone beach, known for its fishing and diving – this is also a great spot for birdwatching. Just down the hill, the north end of Meadfoot Beach also permits dogs – so bear The Kents pub in mind when returning from a visit to the shore. The Clocktower on Torwood Street is a pet-friendly pub, and The Hole in the Wall close to the harbourside is a great choice for a meal or drinks. The Cary Arms in Babbacombe is close to the dog friendly Babbacombe Beach so visitors can round off a meal or drinks with a stroll beside the sea.
