Dog Friendly St Austell BeachesCharlestown Beach is a lovely dog-friendly beach in St Austell, and is found in the nearby village of Charlestown. The beach is perfect for a walk along the sand at any time of year, and its pebbles have long fascinated geologists. There are lots of little caves and rock pools for dogs to poke their noses into, and there’s a car park close by. Pentewan Beach is also dog friendly between November and March, as is the scenic Pokerris Beach. Kemmick Beach, near Dodman Point is also dog friendly throughout the whole year. The Kings Arms is found in the town centre of Mevagissey and also serves food, whilst the Bugle Inn is a beautiful country pub with a restaurant too.
