Torquay Hi-FlyerThe Torquay Hi Flyer really is a one of a kind South Devon attraction. Take a flight up 400 feet in this tethered balloon on Torquay’s seafront and admire the unbeatable bay views for 15 minutes. Don't worry, the balloon is completely safe and is great fun for adults and children. As the views below are the best part of a flight in the Hi Flyer, the basket is specially designed to offer fabulous views for children and disabled flyers too. Although tethered, flights can be dependent on weather and winds, so it is best to check before setting off.

Come and say hello to the resident elephants, giraffes, tigers, lions, monkeys and zebras – and if you dare pop into the crocodile swamp! Kents CavernPeer into the past with a visit to Kents Cavern in Torquay, a set of prehistoric caves that are the last thing the town’s visitors expect to find under their feet! A visit to the oldest of South Devon family attractions includes a guided tour through the chilly tunnels and caves. See where the residents of Torquay dwelt millions of years ago, and the tools they used to survive! The caves have also been the site of some of the country’s most important prehistoric finds. Children are very welcome in the Kents Cavern as the walk is even and fairly easy, although unfortunately disabled access past the first chamber is not permitted.
