Fowey Regatta and Carnival WeekFowey Regatta and Carnival Week will run from 14-20 August 2011. Hundreds flock to the small town of Fowey on Cornwall’s south coast to enjoy the Royal Regatta. Although primarily a sailing event, the regatta has its share of entertainment for the landlubbers amongst us, including displays by the Red Arrows, live music and children’s activities too. There’s always plenty of action in the water too, so look out for the boat races and their timetables if you want to watch the fun from on dry land.
