China Clay Country Park, near St Austell welcomes dogs throughout but they must stay on leads. Dog Friendly South Cornwall BeachesThe surprising thing about the dog friendly beaches in South Cornwall is that some of the county’s finest sands welcome dogs all year round, so you needn’t feel tied to an out of season holiday by seasonal dog bans on beaches. Par Sands in Fowey welcomes dogs throughout the year, as well as Coombe Haven and Poldridmouth Beach – and each of these scenic beaches is just 15 minutes from the centre of Fowey. Further along the coast, the impressive 3 mile beach at Whitsand Bay also allows dogs all year round, and there are plenty more besides!
