EXCELLENT.........

We had the most amazing time on our anniversary weekend break. The location and facilities were perfect and the view from our lodge was stunning! We spent every evening in the hot tub watching the sunset and there was not a single thing we could fault. The lodge was decorated beautifully with everything we needed. The bed was so comfy and the decor was wonderful. Mike was kind and helpful. We received a welcome pack with some local cheese, ale, milk, chocolate and jam which was a lovely touch. We would recommend to all. Thanks for a great stay

Great weekend

Booked online with no problems. Arrived following directions emailed to us. Fabulously clean.Couldnt fault the lodge. They had thought of everything. There were games, cards, DVDs and leaflets for things to do and take away menus. The hot tub was fantastic though a low wattage light would be useful as it got dark early but there was a torch at hand. Overall it was amazing , the best weekend I have had in years. Thank you to Mike the manager for doing a great job! See you later as we say from up north. Ps., the bed was wonderful! I've ordered the same quilt cover

Peppers Lodge, Draycott, Somerset

A wonderful short break with the family. I choose Strawberry field park due to its central location for visiting Cheddar and Wells. Its a small plot which is tucked away from the main road, ideal for a quiet getaway. The lodge was equipped with everything we needed and Mike the manager was on hand to greet us when we arrived and was only a call away should we need anything. The lodge felt like home from home and the site even had a cider barn (which does takeaway ale and cider) The real bonus was the hot tub! Such a wonderful touch to the lodge, watching the sun go down with a glass of wine. Bliss! Booking couldn't have been made easier online and a welcome pack was at the lodge when we arrived including walking maps, leaflets of the local area and general information. We will definitely recommend to friends and look forward to our next holiday with blue chip!

Spacious, Quiet and Spotless

Stayed in Peppers Lodge, Strawberry Park, Cheddar for a long weekend (Friday until Monday). The directions and instructions sent by email were excellent and lead us straight to the property. Spaces for 2 cars was adjacent to the property, with additional spaces within 20 meters. The property has all the furnishings required for our stay. It was as if someone actually lived here, well fitted out and very clean. Linen and towels were provided, actually everything we needed was somewhere in the lodge, including a pair of umbrellas (not required during our stay). The WiFi had an excellent range and was fast, playing cards, games, dvds all onsite. The Jacuzzi was very clean and hot ready for immediate use. This was maintained by Mike early every morning so that it was in pristine condition for use during the day. Mike is a very welcoming and accommodating host. The Cider Barn was 30 feet away and provides a relaxing chilled out 'barn pub' environment to taste the local ciders and standard beers. The food here is excellent wholesome pub food, locally made and fresh. Jason is an excellent host together with his team who provide a friendly relaxed experience. Visited the barn on the first night, and basically didn't want to spend our evenings anywhere else other than here right on our doorstep. Ideal place for anyone who wants a quiet clean well equipped break. Definitely coming back to this 'gem of summerset' again this year and hopefully many more to come. Thoroughly enjoyed my first every Blue Chip holiday - Thanks guys / girls !

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area

The accommodation was great and equipped with everything you could possibly need with added extras too!The hot tub had gorgeous views and it was lovely to spend time relaxing in it. It is so quiet and peaceful and you can see the Mendips and gorge areas from there. Mike and his team are really helpful and friendly and it is all really well looked after.

Strongly recommended

A wonderful holiday in beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Pepper's lodge was spacious, clean and had all the facilities that we needed. We were close to the brilliant Cider Barn (highly recommended) and yet we were very private and enjoyed peace and quiet. It was wonderful to sit in the hot tub in the evening and watch the sun set over the mendip hills. We would be very happy to come back.
