Amazing home and idyllic location!

The Chapel in Chard is an amazing place to stay. The Chapel is finished to a high standard and is a home from home. Has everything down to the finest detail. The accommodation is a mix of old and new which works very well. The setting of the Chapel is on a working farm within an idyllic country backdrop. I would definitely recommend the Chapel and Jenny was very helpful which makes all the difference. Thank you

The Chapel in Chard Taunton

we took a leisurely trip down and arrived late in the evening To find the listed building tastefully refurbished, underfloor or heating was great and the wood burner made the atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our midweek stay. On the down side the microwave was hidden in a cupboard and the chopping boards need replacing

Fabulous home from home

This is our first time staying in the UK for a family holiday lasting more than just a long weekend, we'd normally go abroad. All I can say is, the Chapel did not disappoint! Fabulous accommodation, very comfortable, great location. We used it as the perfect base for visiting the whole of the south west of England, as it's close to the major roads, but far enough away to be very quiet. Highly recommended - and if you choose to stay here, there's a farm shop very close by that is perfect for groceries (and some supermarkets in Chard for anything not sold here) and a cider mill just a very short drive away - what more could you want?

The Chapel - Chard

The property is even better than it looks in the photos - if that's even possible. Stunningly designed and so well equipped. We had a winter break and it was lovely and cosy with underfloor heating and the log burner. Would be wonderful in summer too with the doors open wide and lovely garden with horses the other side of the fence. A short drive to a farm shop and great walks suggested by the owners. The coast is also nearby with fab fish and chips at Lyme Regis. Also, do not miss the Tytherleigh Arms for amazing food.

Hassle Free Holiday Booking and Quality Service

From start to finish Blue Chip executed an exemplary service. Easy to search and book and the pre-holiday information was detailed, accurate and substantial. Our holiday let was The Chapel in Chard, Somerset. This beautifully restored and extended property was tastefully furnished and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Beds were well 'dressed' and comfortable and we slept very well. Jenny (owner) left a welcome pack and checked on us to ensure everything was OK. A recommended accommodation, a real Blue Chip holiday home.

The Chapel Chard. Somerset

From the moment we arrived everything went absolutely to plan. Perfect arrangements were in place for the key and the accommodation had been recently refurbished and was absolutely stunning. Very stylish and very comfortable. The extensive gardens were totally enclosed which was a blessing to know our spaniels were safe. The rural picturesque setting was very relaxing and I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely old chapel.

Stunning Property

The Chapel really had the wow factor, it was clean and warm and comfortable. The kitchen is amazing with all mod cons, it was just a shame that it was not warm enough outside to open the big sliding doors. However, the wood burner kept us all cosy inside. Great location and a fantastic farm shop only metres away. We would definitely stay again.

The Chapel - Chard

The Chapel is a beautiful cottage in a wonderful location - every window looks out over rolling fields. The cottage has been decorated and equipped to an exceptional standard - it is the best equipped cottage I have ever stayed in. I can't recommend staying at The Chapel highly enough!
