The River Parrett and Canal walk is a five mile Bridgwater walk. As the walk is fairly level, it’s graded as easy and should take around two hours to complete in full.
There are three stiles along the way though, so this path isn’t suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. The closest car park to the starting point if the pay and display car park close to the Blake Museum, and dogs can be allowed off the lead for much of the tow path and riverside sections. This route follows the river in one direction and returns beside the canal.
