Description

We can’t think of a spot more inviting for some time away from it all than Drake Cottage on the beautiful Lakeview resort in Somerset. With comtemporary features throughout to welcome the weary, this home from home makes a stylish choice for a break in the heart of Somerset’s countryside.

Sunny days mean you can fling open the doors that lead from the living space out onto the terrace, and with the kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook for the family you can showcase your skills with local produce and then gather the clan around the picnic bench on the patio to tuck in. On cooler days, the living space has plenty of space for everyone to settle down in front of the TV while the flame effect fire makes shapes on the wall.

When it’s time for bed, the master bedroom goes above and beyond thanks to a king size bed and romantic Juliet balcony with views across the resort’s private fishing lake. That reminds us, if you have a valid rod licence you’ll be welcome to fish from the lake during your stay…when you’re not enjoying the many walks in the area of course.
