Seagrove Beach

Things To Do

We’re dog owners too, and we know that when you arrive on holiday you can’t wait to take the dog for a long walk somewhere new, and that’s why we like to let you know the beaches that welcome our best friends all year round. This is one of them, so no matter when your Isle of Wight holiday starts you’ll be welcome at this secluded sandy beach close to Ryde.

With a Quality Coast Award to its name and a car park nearby, Seagrove Beach is handy for those times when you want to enjoy the sand without the crowds. You can pick up the coast path behind the beach and walk on to Puckpool Point, but the beach is well-served with toilets, a cafe and shops on the promenade if you want to stay for awhile and relax.

Activities at Seagrove include surfing, sailing, wind surfing and kayaking, so whether you’re content to sit and watch them on the water while your dog explores or if you fancy giving one a try the conditions are spot on. If you want to walk to the beach there’s a wall from Seaview Village. You’ll find clear waters and a gentle sloping expanse of sand when you arrive.
