Dog Friendly Saunton & Braunton WalksThink dog friendly Braunton walks and Braunton Burrows will undoubtedly spring to mind...the Burrows frame the beautiful Saunton Sands beach and create miles of uninterrupted land for dogs to stretch their legs! Although dogs are very welcome to have fun exploring Braunton Burrows, owners will need to stay close to them as there is often livestock grazing in some areas, and occasional nesting birds on the ground. Also, parts of the Burrows are used by the MoD for training and live fire can be used at times, so look out for warning flags. Just beside the Burrows, Saunton Sands is a dog friendly Saunton beach and at 3 miles long is another excellent dog friendly Saunton walk. Click below for dog friendly holiday cottages. |
