Dog Friendly Penzance AttractionsAs mentioned, Land’s End has got to be one of the ultimate dog friendly Penzance attractions. The most westerly point of mainland England is also a beautiful natural area with plenty of wildlife to look out for as you walk its trails. If you’re after an attraction to entertain the family that doubles up as a day out with your pet, bear this one in mind! Also, St Michael’s Mount, the historic island off the coast of the nearby village of Marazion is another idea for a dog friendly Penzance day out. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the castle or its gardens.

Dog Friendly Penzance WalksWe mentioned Land’s End as an attraction before, but it’s also a good spot for dog friendly walks in Penzance. Although dogs aren’t permitted inside the Land’s End attraction, the area outside the complex has some beautiful trails that are a great way to enjoy the blustery stretch of coastline and views out to sea. If you fancy trying out the South West Coast Path, the route between Penzance and the village of Marazion is just under 3.5 miles, and should take around 2 and a half hours to complete.

Dog Friendly Penzance BeachesLuckily, there are two dog friendly beaches in Penzance that welcome pets all year round, so owners don’t have to worry about timing seaside strolls to the quiet seasons. Cot Valley beaches are two separate coves that allow dogs, and they happen to be amongst the prettiest secluded coves in the area. Wherrytown Beach is dog friendly between October and Easter, and due to its size this pebble beach is a good spot for letting your dog nose around in the fresh air. There’s a car park at the beach too. Eastern Green Beach is also dog friendly all year round too. Kynance Cove beach operates a seasonal dog ban. |
