Broadsands Beach

Broadsands Beach is a sandy Paignton beach perfect for those who fancy some distance from the hustle and bustle of the amusements. Broadsands’ gentle slopes make it a safe choice for those with children. This beach is unsuitable for those with disabilities as it can only be accessed via steps.

A dog ban is operated during the summer. The beach has its own large car parks and is ten minutes walk from the main bus route, so reaching the sands with all your kit needn’t be a worry! A cheery row of colourful beach huts lines this pretty beach, and many use it as a starting point for walks.

Paignton Beach

Paignton harbour is just a stone’s throw away, so toilets, shops and cafes are within easy reach from Fairy Cove. Dogs are also welcome on Fairy Cove beach, so this is a convenient choice of beach for those on dog-friendly holidays in Paignton. Disabled access is difficult as the beach must be entered via steps.

Goodrington Sands

Goodrington Sands are a Paignton tourist attraction in their own right! With a winding stretch of sand, picturesque surrounding scenery and the occasional passing steam train, a trip to this popular spot is a must during beach holidays in Paignton.

There is even fun to be found when the tide goes out, as the Sands are fantastic for rock pooling. Close to Quaywest Water Park, Goodrington Sands has a wide range of amenities, including an informative Seashore Centre for children to explore.

Close to Paignton Sands, Preston Sands is recognisable by its long line of colourful beach huts. A popular choice with families on Paignton beach holidays, Preston Sand’s combination of sand and rock pools lures visitors year after year.

This beach has disabled access, facilities, cafes, a seasonal dog ban, deckchair hire and nearby parking – everything you need for a worry-free day by the sea. Deckchairs can be hired throughout the summer season, and summer entertainment is never far away!
