Although recent years have seen Padstow develop into one of North Cornwall’s more fashionable resorts, it is still well-suited as a family holiday destination. Padstow’s historic fishing harbour, white sandy beaches and many small shops ensure that visitors have plenty to explore.
 
Largely due to the presence of Rick Stein, eating out during Padstow holidays is an experience in itself. The Seafood Restaurant, Stein’s Fish and Chips, St Pedroc’s Bistro and Rick Stein’s Cafe are each owned by the chef himself so whatever your tastes, you can indulge them in Padstow. Alternatively, Padstow offers traditional fish and seafood restaurants, all served by the port’s own fisherman, as well as tearooms and friendly pubs – several of which offer spectacular views of the surrounding areas.
