Croyde BeachCroyde Beach may just be North Devon’s most famous, and the combination of its world-class surfing conditions and stunning Blue Flag beach make this one beach in North Devon that you won’t want to miss! The sandy beach backs onto pretty dunes, and is the perfect backdrop for surfing, swimming or just a day enjoying the sand. No dogs are permitted on Croyde Beach, but its fairly small size means that there are other North Devon beaches more suited to walks with the pets. A lifeguard service operates during summer, and surfers are advised to keep an eye on the flags for advice before entering the water.
