Dog Friendly North Cornwall WalksWith so many beaches to choose from in the region, the sandy bays and coves are great for dog friendly walks in North Cornwall. However, if you fancy heading inland for a real country walks with your pets then why not try The Camel Trail? The trail is an 11 mile stretch of disused railway line converted into a walking and cycle route, and runs between Bodmin, Wadegridge and Padstow. The Camel Trail gives the best views for miles, taking in Cornwall’s Camel Valley, and its smooth surface makes it an easy walk for dogs, pushchairs and wheelchair users.

Dog Friendly North Cornwall AttractionsOne of the most dog-friendly North Devon attractions is the sinister Bodmin Jail! Dogs are allowed throughout the spooky family attraction, including on the guided tours, as well as in the cosy bar and restaurant. The jail was Cornwall’s last county jail and it makes for a fascinating family attraction. Beware though, as the jail is claimed to be the scene of many a ghostly happening. If you’ve got your heart set on a particular resort then a bit of research is sure to unearth a beach to welcome you and your pets, but here are a few to think about. Perran Sands in Perranporth allows dogs all year round and Holywell Bay near Newquay is also dog friendly all year round. Also, Summerleaze in Bude welcomes dog, although they must be on a lead between May and September, and Constantine Bay Beach in Padstow is also a dog friendly beach in North Cornwall.
