Robin Hill sits right at the heart of the Isle of Wight, and it’s not only one of the island’s most spectacular areas of countryside but it’s also a great family day out. In a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the park is home to local wildlife such as red squirrels and butterflies, and you’ll even find the remains of a Roman villa in the grounds.
The only way this attraction could be even better for a family day out is if it had something to entertain the children, and the rides and play areas tend to do a pretty good job! The rides include the toboggan run, the Cows Express train ride, the exciting 4D cinema and (if you’re feeling brave) the Colossus Swinging Galleon. The Big Green Tractor Ride means it’s easy to get around the park and enjoy this natural landscape so this is a lovely place to visit no matter what your age.
Robin Hill covers 80 acres, and you’ll find play features for the little ones around the park. The rickety troll bridges are always a big hit, as children love to make their way across the ponds as the bridges wobble and weave beneath their feet!
