Dog Friendly Lympstone WalksThere is a lovely walk from the village of Lympstone to Exmouth, which follows the River Exe. Whether you choose to walk the new, smooth cycle path or follow the old walkway, this is a perfect dog friendly walk in Lympstone for exploring the surrounding scenery. The old pathway is not suitable for prams of wheelchairs, but dogs won’t mind the fact that it can also be a little muddy and runs beside the river! On a serious note, sections of this pathway are very close to open railway tracks, so you’ll need to keep your dog close.

Dog Friendly Lympstone AttractionsCrealy Great Adventure Park welcomes dogs. For just 60p each, you can bring your dogs along and enjoy it as a family! Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted at Powderham Castle as there are resident dogs belonging to the family and deer in the surrounding land. With Exmouth less than an hour’s walk from Lympstone, why not walk your dog along the estuary for a free dog-friendly attraction in Lympstone? Areas at either end of Exmouth Beach are dog friendly.

Dog Friendly Lympstone BeachesAll dogs love the seaside, and you’ll be spoilt for choice of dog friendly beaches on Lympstone holidays. Exmouth Beach is just minutes from Lympstone and there are dog friendly areas all year round. The restrictions don’t apply at all between September and Easter, so if you visit out of season you and your dog will have the whole 2 miles of sand to roam. Budleigh Salterton Beach bans dogs during the summer but they are welcome for the quieter months. This beach is pebbly, and famous for its large, smooth pebbles. Budleigh Salterton is great for swimming and bathing, as it has deep waters, although the steep shelf can make it difficult to get out of the sea.
