Perfect holiday pad

We stayed in Windward in Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight and had a fantastic time. The property was immaculate, with a lovely Welcome note and a few lovely goodies. As we explored the property we found little notes to explain things which was really helpful i.e.- unexpected beach towels in the wardrobes . We had our own with us but the option was a thoughtful touch. The property is very modern, with every need catered for in the kitchen. The information folder was excellent as was the pile of leaflets and brochures about the island. Each bedroom was comfy and spotlessly clean, with lovely comfy beds. The bathroom was lovely with a great shower. The paved back garden was a complete sun trap and lovely place to sit in the evenings. Yarmouth is a beautiful little place and we are so glad we stayed here rather than one of the 'beachy towns'. There are numerous places to eat, a handy shop and a few lovely independent retailers. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The only thing that we would consider next time is a different ferry crossing.Had we realised that we could cross on the Lymington Ferry, we would have driven off the boat and been at Windward in less than 5 mins! However by crossing into East Cowes we had a lovely exploratory drive across the island to Yarmouth so hardly a problem. We would highly recommend this property and are seriously thinking of going back again.

Everything and More

Windward was a perfect holiday property in every way. The standard of accommodation was excellent and the quality of everything contained in the property was obvious. It was equipped more like a home than a holiday rental. The property's position, within walking distance of the town is a bonus and with several food shops including a deli and plenty of cafes and pubs/restaurants there is no need to venture very far. The Isle of Wight is a beautiful island and well worth a visit. Combine this with a great property like Windward and you can't fail to have a great time.

Up there with the best

Windward has certainly raised the bar when comparing holiday accommodation. We are almost tempted to give it a bad review to ensure it is available should we want a further holiday in Yarmouth, but that would be so unfair as there is absolutely nothing to criticise.

Excellent location and house

Windward in Yarmouth was a lucky choice. We were not familiar with the island. The house is a very short distance from the ferry and the centre of Yarmouth. An excellent choice of restaurants within a short walk from the house. The house itself is very well equipped and spotless.
