Description

Just a ten minute drive from Ventnor, you’ll find The Old Dairy set on a small hobby farm in the picturesque village of Whitwell. We love the fact that this cottage feels like home as soon as you step inside and set your bags down, and children will be thrilled to feed the Alpacas and the goat on the farm.

The open plan living and dining space mean you can cook up those home-cooked recipes and then gather the family for an evening in front of the Smart TV, and the kids will love the Nintendo Wii in the snug. In fact, this is the perfect opportunity for them to show you how it’s done in a family tournament!

With a rural setting that’ll make you feel a world away from the stresses of home, there’s something special about sitting outside on the decking and just enjoying the sounds of the countryside. The barbeque area means summer afternoons will be scented with the smell of sausages sizzling, and the goat and Alpacas that call the farm home are always excited to greet guests.

The village of Whitwell sits just to the north of Ventnor, so you’ll have the attractions of a traditional seaside resort within easy reach. Known for its warm micro-climate, Ventnor’s home to a sand and shingle beach, Ventnor Botanic Gardens and the Ventnor Haven Fishery.
