Description

You’ll find Southgrove View Cottage in an elevated position above the popular seaside resort of Ventnor, and it’s one of those properties that makes you feel instantly at home. The open plan living, kitchen and dining space make a bright, relaxing place to spend time together in between those adventures, and the bay windows showcase the sea views. When the fresh air beckons you outside, step out onto the terrace and enjoy the setting…the perfect way to round off a busy day or while away lazy mornings.

Within easy walking distance of Ventnor Beach, this cottage makes a handy base for those bucket and spade breaks. Ventnor’s sandy beach is the Isle of Wight’s most southerly beach, and it’s the kind of beach that has brightly coloured beach huts and good old-fashioned deck chairs.

You’ll find all the usual amusements on the promenade, and when it comes to dining, the restaurants have a fantastic reputation for serving up fresh, local seafood.  Ventnor Botanic Gardens is another popular day out, and with 22 acres of sub-tropical gardens, it’s perfect for a family wander.
