Description

With a beautiful setting on the Pyle Hall Farm estate, Gladices Barn is a luxury barn conversion set amidst 250 peaceful acres. With unspoilt scenery in every direction and dramatic views across to the West Wight coastline, this Isle of Wight home from home makes an unforgettable setting for a family gathering, group or corporate stay in the heart of the island’s countryside.

Beautifully converted, Gladices Barn is home to seven spacious en suite bedrooms – and each one has been furnished to a standard that’ll take your breath away. Five of the bedrooms welcome their guests with super king size beds, and the bridal suite has a four poster bed to make a stay extra special. Downstairs, the three reception rooms can be opened up to create one elegant 80 foot space – perfect for that special event.

Outside, you’ll find a large, one acre garden complete with an ever-so-inviting hot tub that makes the perfect place to sink beneath the bubbles and admire the views for a while. On warmer days, the barbeque makes it easy to enjoy the views while you dine al fresco, and the decked terrace means you can sit back and watch the herd of deer and stags in the nearby paddock.

A stay at Gladices Barn is a unique opportunity to embrace life on a working farm, and the resident herd of waygu cattle are always a delight to see as you set off for a wander along one of the nearby footpaths or bridleways. In fact, those of you keen to spot wildlife during your holiday will be in your element thanks to the pheasants, badgers, hares, cuckoos, corn bunting and red squirrel that call the area home.

Located on the South East coast of the Isle of Wight in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Gladices Barn offers guests a tranquil, rural setting with an abundance of activities on the door step. For those looking for action, try surfing at Compton Bay or for a slower pace enjoy one of the many scenic inland or coastal walks.

Gladices Barn is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday with family or friends or a wonderful venue for a special celebration or even an intimate wedding reception.  Corporate events are also catered for and provide an alternative venue for off-site meetings or team building activities. A fine selection of local food and drink can also be arranged for your special event.
