Description

Enjoy a romantic getaway where memories can be both made and rekindled in a break which will bring a smile to the faces of anyone who visits.

Shanklin Manor has been extensively, yet tastefully renovated in order to combine original character with modern features, and Number 7 is on the first floor. A warm and inviting living area is open plan with the kitchen and dining area and the radiating comfort continues into the spacious double bedroom.

The town centre is filled with local traders and their boutique shops and picture postcard buildings and you can feel festive all year round in “Jingle Bells” the town’s resident Christmas shop. Day trips are an essential part of the Isle of Wight experience and Shanklin Heritage Centre with its cascading waterfalls and historic gorge and Rylstone Gardens cliff top walks are particularly enchanting.

Only a short walk away you can enjoy a wide range of activities, lounge in a deck chair on the golden sandy beach, swim in the clear waters, play Crazy Golf on the Esplanade, enjoy a cream tea in one of the thatched tea rooms in the picturesque ‘Old Village, take a stroll through the historical Shanklin Chine, whilst whistful drives and majestic scenery are never far away, with 70% of the island designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

First class

A perfect apartment for couples, exceptional standard, clean modern and quiet, in a converted manor house. A first class break away, with a convenient location and parking.

Lovely Apartment, Great Area, No Expense Spared

Went on holiday to the Isle of Wight with my Wife. Very pleased with the apartment, immaculately clean and everything to a very high standard. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants the perfect holiday.

7 Shanklin Manor

The accommodation was excellent and the views were wonderful. It was like a home from home with everything we needed at hand. The accommodation was situated in a picturesque part of Shanklin close to all amenities. I did think that the price was on the expensive side (£350) especially as we only stayed for 3 nights. What with the ferry costing nearly £100 as well. The only down side was that we arrived to a dishwasher full of dirty dishes which wasn't good after a long journey. We arrived at 7pm, hungry and wanting to cook a meal. Having said all this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book with you again.

Shanklin Manor

Shanklin Manor.........very peaceful and also central for transport all over the island, the apartment very good and well equipped. However, for the very elderly and infirm, the amount of stairs could prove difficult for some, but not for us, everything was most satisfactory, Thank you for a most enjoyable week.

Lovely Self Catering Apartment for 2 in Shanklin I of w

Shanklin is an excellent spot to stay in the Isle of Wight. Several excellent restaurants (especially Pedletons) and tea rooms. you can walk all along the front at least as far as Bembridge -stopping for breakfast in Sandown and coffee/ lunch in Bembridge. You can follow the coastal path to Ventnor or go across the downs via Wroxall and catch a bus back! Godshill is a 10 minute drive -if that and there are 2 lovely restaurants -the taverners and The Essex. 7 Shanklin Manor is situated in lovely grounds within the Shanklin manor house. It is the perfect self catering apartment for a couple. It has everything you could need and a lovely relaxing feel to it. WiFi is included and there was an excellent selection of cds and dvds. it is excellent value and we would highly recommend it.

Very peaceful apartment in beautiful surroundings and in easy reach of old Old Shanklin. I would definitely recommend this apartment to a friend. Blue Chip is a very efficient and friendly company to deal with.

Shanklin Manor

We have just stayed at apartment 7 Shanklin Manor, and we found it to be very comfortable and clean with everything there that we needed. The grounds were well kept and the location set back from the main road was good too. This is the second property on the Blue Chip Holidays site that we have stayed in and have found it a good experience. Both properties were just as they were described and little extras were also supplied.
