3 The Priory, Isle of Wight

We have just spent 5 nights at The Priory. This apartment is small but perfectly formed. Ideal for two people. The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped. Lovely views from the bedroom over the sea and its worth going for a walk in the gardens, chairs available in the Summer House if the weather is good and you want to just sit and read. Old Shanklin is only about 10mins walk away (a bit longer coming back as its uphill!) and there are plenty of places to eat in the evenings. Would certainly return.

A little piece of heaven

Stunning view, fabulous interior. Fully equipped with all you need during your stay. The grounds are amazing with well-kept sprawling garden area which my son loves to explore whenever we stay at the Priory.

Lovely break...

We have had a lovely break here in Shanklin. The apartment is wonderful and has everything we could possibly want to make our stay enjoyable! The view from the room will be missed. Would definitely recommend the little restaurant at the top of the hill. We will definitely be back!

3 The Priory

We have once again thoroughly enjoyed our stay at our apartment. We so look forward to coming every time and are really pleased to note that guests staying here enjoy it much as we do. We note a couple of comments about wardrobe space. As you will notice space is at a premium and we wish do keep the apartment as unclouded as possible. We do provide hanging space and will now give this same more thought. We really enjoy staying here ourselves and are keen to ensure all our guests have a happy and enjoyable time too.

Lovely apartment...

Lovely apartment, clean and well equipped. We have had a lovely relaxing break. directions to the Priory from Bluechip were not good and we had to phone for help but response was quick. Eating out; 'Penelletons' is excellent! For good pub food go to the 'Village Inn' in Shanklin and 'The Taverners Godshill' are very good.

3 The Priory

We came here for our honeymoon and found the accommodation very clean and well-equipped apart from lack of wardrobe space. The views are fantastic especially from the bedroom window. We dined several times at The Crab in the village and would highly recommend it. Thank you very much.

Lovely stay here...

Lovely stay here, the village of Shanklin is lovely and some nice pubs. Views are perfect, its just a shame the trees have grown!! The only negative was the builder next door waking us up at 7;30am on 3 mornings! Other wise great get away and lovely apartment.

3 The Priory

We enjoyed staying at the apartment. It was well equipped and in a quiet location, with wonderful views from the bedroom across the bay to the sea. A short drive from lovely beaches, Bonchurch was a favourite with car park on the cliff top, a short walk down to the beach.

Lovely stay...

We had a lovely stay here at the Priory. We visited many places moving around the island over our seven days. The apartment is lovely and would not hesitate for a chance to revisit.

Perfect place...

After 3 years of doing my nursing degree, this was the perfect place to relax. Fully equipped, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Waking up to the beautiful view of the sea and 'Culver Cliff'was magical. My grandparents ashes were scattered on Culver so it was extra special. The weather has not been kind but after a shopping trip to 'Newport' we acquired some waterproofs and headed off to the wonderful sights of the island. Sea view around the port is always a favourite with Ben!

Our holiday corresponded with the July heat wave! A lovely bright well equipped apartment. We really enjoyed the balcony and the views over the bay. We would endorse all the previous recommendations for Pendletons. Thank you.

Wonderful holiday...

We had a wonderful holiday, first time in the Isle of Wight and we loved it, loved the flat it was so comfy and clean and quiet so relaxing. Loved the beaches, and the walk down to Shanklin beach, by the steps, is not as far as we thought. Loved Ventnor and hope to come back for more exploring.

3 The Priory

Another lovely relaxing stay at Number Three. We always really enjoy it when we came. We have now added extra hanging space in the bedroom as we have noted two or three comments from guests requesting wish. We now hope that future guests will find this a useful addition.

Beautiful apartment...

Such a beautiful apartment, one of the loveliest we've stayed in! Wonderful views (despite the rather 'iffy' weather) and old Shanklin such a treat to drive through. The cushion on the back of the sofa sums it up!

Relaxing week...

We've had a super sunny relaxing week. Enjoyed a great view of the Island race, 1,500 yachts, what a sight! Sitting in the garden relaxing and touring around the island has been just the ticket. No where is to far to drive, watch out for the closed section of the A3055 between St Laurence and near St Catherine's point. Detour around Whitwell and Nitas well signposted. You can still get to Ventour Botanical gardens however. Lovely little apartment! Thanks!

Thoroughly enjoyed...

We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here and have been lucky to have lovely weather. As most of our holidays on the Isle of Wight have been on the west coast, we decided to visit the the eastern side of the Isle, hence Shanklin. We haven't been disappointed and went to Ryde, Seaview, Bembridge, Newport and Sandown. The beach at Sandown was great to relax on. This apartment is very well appointed with glorious views and lovely garden, although small it is very clean and well equipped. 'Pendle' to us is a splendid place to dine.

3 The Priory

We had a fantastic time staying in this lovely apartment and thoroughly enjoyed a very long overdue return to the IoW. We went to Pendletons on our last night and previous guests were right. Worth booking. The ice cube were a nice touch. Thank you and 'we'll be back'.

A small flat but with all you need for a great holiday

My wife and I stayed for four nights and our first impressions was that the flat was quite small. However, once getting unpacked and settled in we thought it was ideal for our short break. The highlight is the bedroom as it was great to be in bed and to look out of the large windows to a lovely view with the sea and Shanklin in the distance. The lounge/kitchen was really cosy and we have never stayed in a holiday let with such a high standard of furnishings and equipment. Even though the flat is small it was great to discover it comes with a bath which was appreciated after a day out walking. On chilly evenings the heating system soon got the flat up to a good temperature. It was really pleasant on warm evenings to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the scenery.
