Sandown has something of a reputation for its carnivals throughout the Wight, so if you’re going to be on the island for 7th November then make sure you grab your sparklers and get a great spot to watch the evening’s spooky entertainment. If you’re going to be on the Isle of Wight over the weekend and you want to make sure your little monsters don’t miss out on the Bonfire Night celebrations then trust us, Sandown will make the evening one to remember.
The carnival’s an autumn tradition on the island, and as it’s so close to Halloween this time they’ve chosen a suitably spooky theme so prepare to cheer on skeletons, ghosts and monsters as they weave their way through the streets (as you do). The live music starts at 6pm, and the Halloween carnival parade will get started at 6.30pm, and when the procession ends there’ll be a firework display to light up the night from 8pm.
There’s always a lovely family atmosphere at the Sandown autumn carnival, and the seaside family favourite makes a beautiful setting for the fireworks as they explode into colour high above the sea.
Saturday 7th November 2015.
