Little Duxmore Barn

A very comfortable and well-appointed holiday home. Perfect for Grandparents, Parents and two small Grandchildren. Lots is do and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoy our stay. The new? Indian Take Away in Wootton Bridge is quite excellent and deserves patronage!

Little Duxmore Barn

We have all had a delightful holiday. The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for our dog. The house has everything we could wish for, and we enjoyed the Table-tennis. Weather has been perfect, and we have explored much of the bland, and hope to visit again.

Little Duxmore Barn AMAZING

The location was excellent and very peaceful the children ran around safely as garden was very secure. All the facilities were excellent and we did not need to bulk out luggage with loads of towels as they were provided. Not far from Ryde, Sandown, Shanklyn and Newport so was great. Loads of hot water and the beds were extremely comfortable too. My only one criticism would be the dirt track on the way to the property has a lot of pot holes so make sure you have decent tyres. The spiders did not bother us as they were there long before us and never bothered us really even though we knew they were there. My THREE year old granddaughter did not want to leave she loved it there so much. I would recommend this property to a bigger group as there is plenty of space for all. Booking was very easy indeed. Thanks Blue Chip. Teresa from Herne Bay, Kent P.S. The views around the area are amazing tooooooo

Lovely place to stay. We really enjoyed the peace of the countryside. Very hot weather. Lots of happy memories of childhood holidays in the 1980’s.

Beautiful place and we had an amazing stay. The Children loved the freedom of running about and 1 four year old did not want to leave she loved the house so much. Plenty of hot water for all. This is an amazing place, quiet and peaceful. So I feel like I have had a real holiday. The beds were very comfortable and all slept well.

Faultless booking and holiday experience

We stayed at Little Duxmore Barn and didn't want to leave. The owners have thought of everything that you may need within the cottage and it was so clean when we arrived. The cottage was cosy and well furnished. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds...well we just wanted to take them home. It was the best sleep in ages!! Its location to the ferry port was perfect, about 20 mins away if that. Central to Newport and Ryde nothing was too far away. The garden was totally dog friendly and with a beagle that likes to roam it was perfect! Not even he could get out it was such a delight to open the door and let him investigate the garden without him being on a lead! The table tennis and Pool table is a nice touch. The booking process with Blue Chip Holidays was brilliant also, the staff were really helpful and informative. This was by far the best weeks holiday we have had, so much so we have already booked for 2 weeks next September!! Thank you all for making our week such a good one.

Excellent overall. Beautiful place. Track was a bit rough on the car - possible improvement but worth it once you got to the property Really nice place to say and most of the facilities are in easy driving reach on the island. Something for kids, families, couples, dogs & all !
